ENGINEER WHOSHIPS REAL THINGS.

I'm Nishant Joshi — a Computer Science graduate (NJIT ’25) who designs and builds full-stack & AI products. From generative travel planning to neural video dubbing, I turn complex ideas into tools people actually use.

I started building in high school and never really stopped.

I'm a recent Computer Science graduate from NJIT with a minor in Data Analytics and a habit of turning ideas into working products. My range runs from AI-powered tools to full-stack web and mobile apps — whatever the problem actually needs.

Most of my work lives at the intersection of engineering and impact. At NJIT Career Services I built five-plus internal tools that consolidated scattered data, cut reporting from hours to minutes, and removed roughly a third of the manual busywork for the staff who relied on them.

“Make the complex feel effortless.”

I care about readable, maintainable code — and about the people on the other side of the screen. Whether it's a generative trip planner or a neural dubbing pipeline, I'm happiest when something complicated quietly becomes something simple to use.

02.2 / OPERATING PRINCIPLES

How I work.

01

Ship real things

Products people actually use — not demos. Code that reaches production and stays there.

02

Clarity over cleverness

Readable, maintainable, well-structured. The next engineer (often future me) will thank you.

03

AI with intent

Models in service of the experience — solving real problems, never chasing the hype.

04

Measure the impact

Cut hours, not corners. If a build doesn't move a number, it's worth asking why.

05

Design for the human

There's a person on the other side of the screen. Empathy is an engineering tool.

06

Always be learning

New tools, new domains, new mistakes. Growth is the only real constant.

02.3 / TRAJECTORY

The path so far.

  • 2022/GENESIS

    First builds

    Freelance · Personal projects

Started shipping full-stack and mobile apps — learning the craft by putting things in front of real users.

  • 2023/NJIT CDS

    Peer Advisor

    NJIT Career Development Services

Ran career workshops, reviewed résumés, and mentored students. Leadership through helping people level up.

  • 2024/PRODUCTION

    Internal Tools Developer

    NJIT CDS · Merck Capstone

Built OutcomesHub, TrackIT, CFM & EPI — production tools adopted across teams — plus a Merck-sponsored cloud capstone.

  • 2025/NJIT '25

    B.S. Computer Science

NJIT · Minor in Data Analytics

Graduated, shipped TRAVaiL & DubBuddy, and turned a habit of building into a profession.

  • 2026/CONTEMPO

    Software Developer

    Contempo Space · Passaic, NJ

Joined full-time to lead platform modernization across ERP, e-commerce & internal systems — migrating off legacy Magento and refactoring API/GraphQL & CPQ workflows.
